how good are JAMO C 809 Speakers for an home theatre system. what will be the compatible AV Receiver?

Posted by on August 4, 2010

Is it worth buying Jamo C 809 speakers for Home theatre in comparison to Bose Lifestyle 35 Speakers System. Though I understand that price wise Jamo will be costlier but is it worth going with Jamo or shall I go for Bose by playing safe?

It’s worth going for Jamo C 809 speakers. No audiophile will ever suggest Bose.

Few choices for compatible AV receivers -
Sony STR DA5200ES (About Rs. 67,000)
Arcam Diva AVR280 (About Rs.110,000)
Onkyo TX-SR875 (About Rs.90,000)

Some not so expensive models-
Sony STR DA1200ES (About Rs.33,500)
Onkyo TX-SR605 (About Rs.36,000)
