I have Qwest internet, and I want to know if there is a way that I can get web hosting from them. Otherwise, does anyone know of any sites that are relatively inexpensive and effective for web Hosting?
yahoo geocities is free (ads will be shown on your finished page)
if you’re looking to pay… (no ads) 1&1 has really good prices for hosting & domains
godaddy claims to have good prices but I went with 1&1 for the hosting and domain deal.

If your looking for a host cheap isnt the way to go. You get what you pay for. If your looking to do any kind of business online I highly recommend Simple Helix – https://www.simplehelix.com/hosting/aff.php?aff=109
They offer great support, answer any questions quite fast and the speed of your webpages loading is an industry best. Not sure if this is what you are looking for but it costs $20/month. Well worth not having to go through the many headaches that the low end hosting companies make you go through to get set up online.
Just my two cents
